When and how did you get started mushing? It all started with two feral bush dogs, Niko and Griffin, in northern Canada, and escalated when we moved to Alaska and added two Iditarod dogs and a puppy. What started out as a skijoring and bikejoring hobby grew to a 5-dog recreational team to explore farther and longer into the Alaskan backcountry. In 2020 we moved to the Sierras of California and decided to try our hand at seriously racing 100-milers which included having a litter of puppies which make up the bulk of our team.
What have been your mushing highlights? Watching my 2-year old 'puppies' grow into confident reliable sled dogs while running the Triple Crown our rookie year.
Future Goals To continue enjoying racing the 100-mile race circuit with my team, and enjoying a few adventures on the side.
